Who is Tony Websmith?
Hello, my name is Tony Smith, but you will come to know me by my pen name “Tony Websmith”; and I’ve been an internet marketer for over 4 years. My journey to “make money online” began back in March of 2009 when I was laid off by my employer.
Losing that job was a very trying time in my life; because I felt lost, frustrated, and stressed about how I was going to pay my bills. After a lot of soul searching, I finally realized that it was time to pursue something for myself, online.
I’d seen so many stories, case studies, or advertisements on how you can make money online; however, I was very skeptical, but it didn’t matter, I was extremely determined to figure this out. So since that point, I’ve read well over 50 books & e-books, watched & listened to over a 200 hours’ worth of material, & taken numerous classes. In January 2012, I finally took action, and hired a consultant & two virtual assistants to help me build my very first website MedicalSalesMastery.com.
Since then, I’ve taught myself how to build that site up, and now I make a passive income off of it, by using Google Adsense & by promoting relevant affiliate products in the medical sales space. I will reference this site several times during my writings, videos, and eventually the podcast that I plan on making in the not so distant future.
Now fast forward 8 months, I got laid off from my job, AGAIN, and decided it was time to pursue my dream of teaching people “How to Build a Profitable Internet Marketing Business” so that they can escape the 9-5, make more money, and live the lifestyle of their dreams.
So what makes you any different than the rest of the people out there doing the same thing?
This is a question I get all of the time, and the difference is, that I come from a sales/marketing, and consulting background. I’ve spent my entire 15 year career playing a consultative sales role with small to medium sized businesses, where I sit down with my client or prospect, conduct a needs analysis, and offer them a well thought out solution to their problems or needs.
I’ve spent the last five years working with dermatologists & plastic surgeons all over the Los Angeles area, on how to market themselves’ better online and off, so that they can make more money with their practice. So I’ve developed a keen ability to give my clients what they want, and I even took it a step further and graduated with a Master’s Certificate in Internet Marketing Strategies from the University of San Francisco.
So with all the experience I’ve gained from the corporate world, and my most recent experience & education on my online business building efforts, I decided to create Websmith Marketing, Inc., to be a “ONE-STOP RESOURCE” to anyone that is looking to build a successful & profitable internet marketing business.
